There are many general-purpose wikis out there, the most notable being Wikipedia. Wikitecture will remain committed to and focused on the endeavours of architects and related design fields.

Entries will be factual and relevant with a balance of objective and subjective content. The purpose of Wikitecture is the exchange of not only information, but ideas about architecture.
